Latest company news about what is PET heat transfer film

PET heat transfer film is a special-purpose film with PET polyester film as the base material, coated with release layer, ink layer and adhesive layer. It transfers patterns and text onto the surface of other products through heating and pressing.

  1. Base material: PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film, featuring high toughness, high temperature resistance and dimensional stability, which serves as the basic carrier of heat transfer film.
  2. Core process: Heat transfer. Under high temperature (100-200℃) and pressure, the patterns on the film separate from the base material and firmly adhere to the surface of the printed substrate.
  3. 4-layer core structure (from outside to inside)
    • PET base layer (support, peelable after transfer)
    • Release layer (enables patterns to separate from PET base easily without residue)
    • Ink layer (carries patterns, text and colors, the core layer for appearance)
    • Adhesive layer (activates when heated to make patterns stick firmly to substrates)

Application

  • Building materials: PVC coated panels, cabinet boards, decorative lines, flooring (highly matching your PVC decorative materials)
  • Daily necessities: Water cups, stationery, tableware, luggage & bags
  • Industrial products: Hardware, plastic parts, electronic product casings
  • Packaging: Gift boxes, labels, food packaging
